ELEMENTS OF MAGIC Weekend Intensive March 5-7, 2004 Ithaca, NY
With the art of magic, we deepen our vision and focus our will, empowering ourselves to act in the world. In this class we begin the practice of Magic, Witchcraft, and Goddess spirituality by working with the Elements of Magic: Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit. Learning from each of these elements, we will explore ritual, creating magical space, working with energy, visualization, trance, chanting, spellcraft and more.
Elements of Magic is for both the new seeker just exploring magic, and experienced practitioners who want to deepen their work. It is an opportunity to move away from learning from books, and engage in participatory learning and experience - growing your personal practice and working with others in a group.
Elements of Magic is a core class in the Reclaiming Tradition of Witchcraft (http://www.reclaiming.org). You do not need to be part of this tradition to participate. Group experience happens in the framework of feminist consensus process. We hope to provide a fair and nurturing environment for all participants.

U.S. Begins Fingerprinting Foreign Visitors Reuters by Paul Simao
ATLANTA (Reuters) - The United States began fingerprinting and photographing visitors from most countries on Monday in a controversial program to try to prevent potential terrorists from slipping in through the borders.
The program was launched at 115 airports and 14 cruise ship ports across the country, but not yet at land borders, which account for a large part of traffic into the United States.
